Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chamaja Ancient Trail Series: County Hall by Sun Mingjing was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The price achieved of HKD 31,250.00 (€ 3,044.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 28,000.00 – 38,000.00. Other works by Sun Mingjing have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2012 the work Zigong Series: Salt Factory Workers No. 1 was auctioned for HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,235.45).
