Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Kangding County by Sun Mingjing for HKD 18,750.00 (€ 1,743.87). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Chinese Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Sun Mingjing have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2012 by the work Zigong Series: Salt Factory Workers No. 1 at HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,235.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Kangding County von Sun Mingjing für HKD 18.750,00 (€ 1.743,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Sun Mingjing wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2012 die Arbeit Zigong Series: Salt Factory Workers No. 1 mit HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.235,45).
