Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Siam by Sujarit Hirankul was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 32,000.00 – 65,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,155.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Sujarit Hirankul have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2021 the work Siam was auctioned for HKD 44,100.00 (€ 4,903.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Siam von Sujarit Hirankul kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 32.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.155,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Sujarit Hirankul konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2021 die Arbeit Siam für HKD 44.100,00 (€ 4.903,47) versteigert.
