A top price for Sujarit Hirankul - as previously expected
The work Siam by Sujarit Hirankul was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in November 2021. The price achieved of HKD 44,100.00 (€ 4,903.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Siam is the most expensive artwork by Sujarit Hirankul that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Siam von Sujarit Hirankul kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.100,00 (€ 4.903,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Siam das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sujarit Hirankul, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
