Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2002 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction SOUTHEAST ASIAN PICTURES, which included the work Houses by the river by Sujarit Hirankul. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 22,000.00 – 32,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 23,900.00 (€ 3,100.88) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Sujarit Hirankul have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2021 the work Siam was auctioned for HKD 44,100.00 (€ 4,903.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2002 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion SOUTHEAST ASIAN PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Houses by the river von Sujarit Hirankul zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 22.000,00 – 32.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 23.900,00 (€ 3.100,88) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Sujarit Hirankul konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2021 die Arbeit Siam für HKD 44.100,00 (€ 4.903,47) versteigert.
