When the work String Composition Prism, No. 830 by Sue Fuller was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2020, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 1,200.00 but the actual price achieved was more than seven times as high at USD 9,450.00 (€ 8,113.68). This high result makes String Composition Prism, No. 830 the most expensive artwork by Sue Fuller that we have observed at auctions so far.
