Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Studio Window by Sudhir Patwardhan was auctioned at Sothebys in Mumbai in November 2019. The price achieved of INR 1,000,000.00 (€ 12,614.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as INR 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sudhir Patwardhan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tree in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 87,796.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Studio Window von Sudhir Patwardhan kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in Mumbai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von INR 1.000.000,00 (€ 12.614,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit INR 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sudhir Patwardhan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tree im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 87.796,31).
