The work Inside (Window) by Sudhir Patwardhan was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2018. The auction ended at the price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 30,115.30), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sudhir Patwardhan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tree, which sold at auction in March 2016 for USD 100,000.00 (€ 87,796.31).

Die Arbeit Inside (Window) von Sudhir Patwardhan kam im September 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 30.115,30) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sudhir Patwardhan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tree beobachtet, die im März 2016 für USD 100.000,00 (€ 87.796,31) versteigert wurde.
