The work Morning II by Su Xinping was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. The result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,928.20) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Su Xinping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cheers in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 493,000.00 (€ 346,719.18).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Morning II von Su Xinping kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 5.928,20) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Su Xinping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cheers im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 493.000,00 (€ 346.719,18).
