The work Sleeping Man, Departing Horse by Su Xinping was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,590.92), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Su Xinping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cheers in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 493,000.00 (€ 346,719.18).

Die Arbeit Sleeping Man, Departing Horse von Su Xinping wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.590,92) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Su Xinping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cheers im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 493.000,00 (€ 346.719,18).
