Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Su Xinping achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Contemporary Art – Day Sale auction, the work Expression No. 1 sold for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,509.27) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Su Xinping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cheers in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 493,000.00 (€ 346,719.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Su Xinping erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art – Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Expression No. 1 für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.509,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Su Xinping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cheers im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 493.000,00 (€ 346.719,18).
