Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Seven Chairs Under The Tree(Painted In 1991) by Su Wong-Shen. The price achieved of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,694.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Su Wong-Shen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Front Yard in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 583,500.00 (€ 48,087.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven Chairs Under The Tree(Painted In 1991) von Su Wong-Shen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.694,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Su Wong-Shen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Front Yard im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 583.500,00 (€ 48.087,78).
