Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Groundbreaking Ceremony by Su Wong-Shen. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 47,103.50) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Su Wong-Shen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work Front Yard was auctioned for HKD 583,500.00 (€ 48,087.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Groundbreaking Ceremony von Su Wong-Shen zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 47.103,50) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Su Wong-Shen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2008 die Arbeit Front Yard für HKD 583.500,00 (€ 48.087,78) versteigert.
