Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The work Ho-Chin Village by Su Wong-Shen was sold in the 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART auction at Christies in Taipei in April 2001. Here, the upper estimate of TWD 400,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for TWD 446,500.00 (€ 15,245.61). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Su Wong-Shen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Front Yard, which sold at auction in April 2008 for HKD 583,500.00 (€ 48,087.78).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Die Arbeit Ho-Chin Village von Su Wong-Shen wurde im April 2001 in der Auktion 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART bei Christies in Taipeh versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von TWD 400.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für TWD 446.500,00 (€ 15.245,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Su Wong-Shen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Front Yard beobachtet, die im April 2008 für HKD 583.500,00 (€ 48.087,78) versteigert wurde.
