Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pulse by Storm Thorgerson was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 456.00 (€ 676.68). Admittedly, works by Storm Thorgerson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pink Floyd 40th Anniversary, 2007 in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 5,737.50 (€ 6,736.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pulse von Storm Thorgerson kam im Juni 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 456,00 (€ 676,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Storm Thorgerson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pink Floyd 40th Anniversary, 2007 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.737,50 (€ 6.736,36).
