Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pulse by Storm Thorgerson was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2007. It changed hands for a price of GBP 384.00 (€ 569.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 300.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Storm Thorgerson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pink Floyd 40th Anniversary, 2007 in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 5,737.50 (€ 6,736.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pulse von Storm Thorgerson kam im Juni 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 384,00 (€ 569,84) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Storm Thorgerson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pink Floyd 40th Anniversary, 2007 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.737,50 (€ 6.736,36).
