Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seated Figure by Stik was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2018. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,250.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Holding Hands (Maquette) in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 287,500.00 (€ 319,244.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seated Figure von Stik kam im März 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.250,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stik erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Holding Hands (Maquette) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 287.500,00 (€ 319.244,23).
