Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Steven Parrino was sold in the Contemporary Discoveries auction at Sothebys in New York in July last year. The price achieved of USD 5,670.00 (€ 5,557.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Steven Parrino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Idol/Idiot in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 566,500.00 (€ 661,206.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Steven Parrino wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Discoveries bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.670,00 (€ 5.557,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Steven Parrino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Idol/Idiot im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 566.500,00 (€ 661.206,96).
