Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire the work Slip it in by Steven Parrino for GBP 252,000.00 (€ 298,774.36). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Steven Parrino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Idol/Idiot, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 566,500.00 (€ 661,206.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Slip it in von Steven Parrino für GBP 252.000,00 (€ 298.774,36) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300.000,00 – 500.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Steven Parrino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Idol/Idiot beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 566.500,00 (€ 661.206,96) versteigert wurde.
