Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,926.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stephen Prina - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blind No. 12 Fifteen-Foot Ceiling or Lower (Cobalt Blue/Red/Naples Yellow Hue/Diarylide Yellow), which sold at auction in May 2014 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,492.67).

Die Arbeit Exquisite Corpse: The Complete Paintings Of Manet 36 Of 556 (33 In The Catalogue Of Manet), Chanteur Espagnol,1860, 1988 von Stephen Prina kam im Mai 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.926,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Stephen Prina mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blind No. 12 Fifteen-Foot Ceiling or Lower (Cobalt Blue/Red/Naples Yellow Hue/Diarylide Yellow) beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.492,67) versteigert wurde.
