Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Silverado Dawn by Stephen Hannock was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. The price achieved of USD 20,480.00 (€ 18,894.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stephen Hannock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Oxbow, for Lane Faison with Betty and Agnes Mongan (Mass MoCA #147) in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 250,075.00 (€ 224,302.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Silverado Dawn von Stephen Hannock kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 20.480,00 (€ 18.894,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stephen Hannock erzielen.
