Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Berlin, Oberbaumbrücke by Stéphane Couturier was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,211.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stéphane Couturier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grand Palais, Paris 8 in May 2011 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,446.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Berlin, Oberbaumbrücke von Stéphane Couturier wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.211,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stéphane Couturier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grand Palais, Paris 8 im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.446,33).
