Sold at the upper estimate price
The work "I vaka i ljusa timmar" by Stellan Mörner was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2021. The auction ended at the price of SEK 80,000.00 (€ 7,898.97), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stellan Mörner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Surrealistiskt sällskap, which sold at auction in October 2009 for SEK 200,000.00 (€ 19,220.60).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "I vaka i ljusa timmar" von Stellan Mörner kam im Mai 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 80.000,00 (€ 7.898,97) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Stellan Mörner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Surrealistiskt sällskap beobachtet, die im Oktober 2009 für SEK 200.000,00 (€ 19.220,60) versteigert wurde.
