Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "Prolongerad advent" by Stellan Mörner. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,053.58) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Stellan Mörner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Surrealistiskt sällskap in October 2009 with an auction result of SEK 200,000.00 (€ 19,220.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Prolongerad advent" von Stellan Mörner zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.053,58) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stellan Mörner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Surrealistiskt sällskap im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 200.000,00 (€ 19.220,60).
