The work Composition with playing cards and books by Stellan Mörner was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 95,000.00 (€ 9,065.32), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stellan Mörner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Surrealistiskt sällskap, which sold at auction in October 2009 for SEK 200,000.00 (€ 19,220.60).

Die Arbeit Composition with playing cards and books von Stellan Mörner wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 95.000,00 (€ 9.065,32) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Stellan Mörner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Surrealistiskt sällskap beobachtet, die im Oktober 2009 für SEK 200.000,00 (€ 19.220,60) versteigert wurde.
