Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Airport by Stefan Kürten for GBP 1,188.00 (€ 1,444.72). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stefan Kürten achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Western Music (16-teilige Serie) in June 2015 with an auction result of EUR 23,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Airport von Stefan Kürten für GBP 1.188,00 (€ 1.444,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stefan Kürten erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Western Music (16-teilige Serie) im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.800,00.
