Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2011 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work The terrace in autumn by Stanisław Żukowski. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 265,250.00 (€ 309,652.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Stanisław Żukowski have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2008 the work Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk was auctioned for GBP 265,250.00 (€ 335,284.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The terrace in autumn von Stanisław Żukowski zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 265.250,00 (€ 309.652,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Stanisław Żukowski konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2008 die Arbeit Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk für GBP 265.250,00 (€ 335.284,89) versteigert.
