Auction result well in line with expectations
The work High Waters by Stanisław Żukowski was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,649.88) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanisław Żukowski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 265,250.00 (€ 335,284.89).
