Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Interior With Lilacs by Stanisław Żukowski was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 70,454.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Stanisław Żukowski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 265,250.00 (€ 335,284.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Interior With Lilacs von Stanisław Żukowski kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 70.454,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stanisław Żukowski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 265.250,00 (€ 335.284,89).
