Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 42,225.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stanisław Żukowski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 265,250.00 (€ 335,284.89).
