Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Road through the Woods by Stanisław Żukowski was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 42,225.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stanisław Żukowski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 265,250.00 (€ 335,284.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Road through the Woods von Stanisław Żukowski wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 42.225,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stanisław Żukowski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 265.250,00 (€ 335.284,89).
