Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 66,369.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stanisław Żukowski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 265,250.00 (€ 335,284.89).
