Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Interior With Samovar by Stanisław Żukowski for USD 134,500.00 (€ 99,977.70). This price was achieved in the auction Important Russian Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stanisław Żukowski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 265,250.00 (€ 335,284.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Interior With Samovar von Stanisław Żukowski für USD 134.500,00 (€ 99.977,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Stanisław Żukowski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 265.250,00 (€ 335.284,89) versteigert wurde.
