Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Early Spring, Niemen by Stanisław Żukowski was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in June 2008. It changed hands for a price of GBP 56,450.00 (€ 71,354.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stanisław Żukowski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 265,250.00 (€ 335,284.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Early Spring, Niemen von Stanisław Żukowski wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 56.450,00 (€ 71.354,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stanisław Żukowski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 265.250,00 (€ 335.284,89).
