Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work A Rural Landscape by Stanisław Żukowski. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,058.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanisław Żukowski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 265,250.00 (€ 335,284.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Rural Landscape von Stanisław Żukowski zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 16.058,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stanisław Żukowski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Interior Of The Picture Gallery, Pavlovsk im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 265.250,00 (€ 335.284,89).
