Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Bicyclette by Stanislas Lepri was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2007. The price achieved of EUR 3,968.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,500.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stanislas Lepri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'homme au visage craquelé in May last year with an auction result of GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,716.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Bicyclette von Stanislas Lepri kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.968,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.500,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stanislas Lepri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'homme au visage craquelé im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.716,32).
