Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
The work Sans titre by Stanislas Lepri was worth EUR 14,025.00 to a buyer in March this year. This price was achieved in the auction La Révolution Surréaliste at Bonhams and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Stanislas Lepri; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot L'homme au visage craquelé sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,716.32).
Kunstwerk zum Fünffachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Stanislas Lepri war einem Käufer im März diesen Jahres EUR 14.025,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion La Révolution Surréaliste bei Bonhams erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Stanislas Lepri; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit L'homme au visage craquelé im Mai letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.716,32).
