Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Srihadi Soedarsono achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. In the 20th and 21st Century Art Morning Session auction, the work Puppets sold for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 92,494.26) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Srihadi Soedarsono have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dalam Meditasi Bedhoyo Ketawang (State Of Meditation - Bedhoyo Ketawang) in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 383,472.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Srihadi Soedarsono erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th and 21st Century Art Morning Session wurde die Arbeit Puppets für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 92.494,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 400.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Srihadi Soedarsono auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dalam Meditasi Bedhoyo Ketawang (State Of Meditation - Bedhoyo Ketawang) im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 383.472,06).
