It achieved a price of HKD 403,200.00 (€ 48,317.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Admittedly, works by Srihadi Soedarsono have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dalam Meditasi Bedhoyo Ketawang (State Of Meditation - Bedhoyo Ketawang) in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 383,472.06).

Die Arbeit The Energy of Legong von Srihadi Soedarsono kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 403.200,00 (€ 48.317,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Srihadi Soedarsono auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dalam Meditasi Bedhoyo Ketawang (State Of Meditation - Bedhoyo Ketawang) im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 383.472,06).
