Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Semangat Hidup - Oleg Tambulilingan by Srihadi Soedarsono was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in June last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 441,000.00 (€ 53,666.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Srihadi Soedarsono have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dalam Meditasi Bedhoyo Ketawang (State Of Meditation - Bedhoyo Ketawang) in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 383,472.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Semangat Hidup - Oleg Tambulilingan von Srihadi Soedarsono kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 441.000,00 (€ 53.666,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Srihadi Soedarsono auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dalam Meditasi Bedhoyo Ketawang (State Of Meditation - Bedhoyo Ketawang) im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 383.472,06).
