Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beach by Srihadi Soedarsono was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 22,653.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Srihadi Soedarsono achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dalam Meditasi Bedhoyo Ketawang (State Of Meditation - Bedhoyo Ketawang) in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 383,472.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Beach von Srihadi Soedarsono kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 22.653,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Srihadi Soedarsono erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dalam Meditasi Bedhoyo Ketawang (State Of Meditation - Bedhoyo Ketawang) im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 383.472,06).
