Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Day Auction, which included the work Dialogue of the Dancers by Srihadi Soedarsono. The price achieved of HKD 441,000.00 (€ 53,320.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 350,000.00 – 550,000.00. Admittedly, works by Srihadi Soedarsono have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dalam Meditasi Bedhoyo Ketawang (State Of Meditation - Bedhoyo Ketawang) in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 383,472.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dialogue of the Dancers von Srihadi Soedarsono zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 441.000,00 (€ 53.320,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 350.000,00 – 550.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Srihadi Soedarsono auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dalam Meditasi Bedhoyo Ketawang (State Of Meditation - Bedhoyo Ketawang) im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 383.472,06).
