Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Oriental Still Life by Emil Carlsen was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2020. The price achieved of USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,134.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emil Carlsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Pottery Jars in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 325,000.00 (€ 278,491.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Oriental Still Life von Emil Carlsen kam im August 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 25.134,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emil Carlsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Pottery Jars im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 278.491,86).
