In July 2020 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Tug end ist, wenn keiner kommt by Sophie von Hellermann. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,062.82), 63% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sophie von Hellermann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in December last year for GBP 16,380.00 (€ 18,491.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tug end ist, wenn keiner kommt von Sophie von Hellermann zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.062,82) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Sophie von Hellermann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für GBP 16.380,00 (€ 18.491,42) versteigert wurde.
