This work without title by Sonja Sekula was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2021. It achieved a price of CHF 47,880.00 (€ 43,673.12), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sonja Sekula; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in June 2020 with the realized price of CHF 50,000.00 (€ 47,026.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sonja Sekula kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CHF 47.880,00 (€ 43.673,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sonja Sekula; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von CHF 50.000,00 (€ 47.026,09).
