Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2014 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Rainy Landscape in Spring by Song Yugui. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 552,000.00 (€ 51,339.58). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Yugui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Waterfall in Autumn, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 1,120,000.00 (€ 129,451.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2014 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rainy Landscape in Spring von Song Yugui zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 552.000,00 (€ 51.339,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Yugui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Waterfall in Autumn beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 1.120.000,00 (€ 129.451,28) versteigert wurde.
