Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peaches by Song Yugui was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 160,000.00 – 460,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 188,800.00 (€ 21,271.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Song Yugui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Waterfall in Autumn in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,120,000.00 (€ 129,451.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peaches von Song Yugui kam im April 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 160.000,00 – 460.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 188.800,00 (€ 21.271,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Song Yugui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Waterfall in Autumn im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.120.000,00 (€ 129.451,28).
