Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Song Yugui was auctioned at China Guardian in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 62,400.00 (€ 7,546.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Yugui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Waterfall in Autumn in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,120,000.00 (€ 129,451.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Song Yugui kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 62.400,00 (€ 7.546,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Yugui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Waterfall in Autumn im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.120.000,00 (€ 129.451,28).
