However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Yugui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Waterfall in Autumn, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 1,120,000.00 (€ 129,451.28).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 575.000,00 (€ 54.564,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Yugui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Waterfall in Autumn beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 1.120.000,00 (€ 129.451,28) versteigert wurde.
