Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn Times by Song Yugui was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings I - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. It changed hands for a price of HKD 575,000.00 (€ 53,478.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 500,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Yugui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Waterfall in Autumn, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 1,120,000.00 (€ 129,451.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Autumn Times von Song Yugui wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings I - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 575.000,00 (€ 53.478,73) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 500.000,00 – 600.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Yugui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Waterfall in Autumn beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 1.120.000,00 (€ 129.451,28) versteigert wurde.
