Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work The Bath Of Consolation No.2 by Song Yonghong for USD 25,000.00 (€ 15,817.78). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Asia at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Yonghong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Production Line in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 2,180,000.00 (€ 189,450.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Bath Of Consolation No.2 von Song Yonghong für USD 25.000,00 (€ 15.817,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Yonghong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Production Line im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.180.000,00 (€ 189.450,10).
